This ebook is a curated collection of methods and practices for creating digital products using Agile and Lean principles. At ThoughtWorks we build custom products and work closely with our clients to evolve practices that adapt to their industry and environments. Our coachees told us they don’t have time to read long lengthy books about the theory of lean product development, or to sort through the dozen or so books to understand the basics of building products (strategy, user experience, user research, agile, scrum, kanban, stories, testing, continuous delivery, continuous integration, … the list is long!). About the Authors

Paulo Caroli

Principal consultant at Thoughtworks Brazil and co-founder of AgileBrazil,  Paulo Caroli has over twenty years of experience in software development, passing in various corporations in Brazil, India, USA and Latin America. In 2000, he met the Extreme Programming and since then has focused its expertise in processes and practices of Agile & Lean. He joined ThoughtWorks in 2006 and held the positions of Agile Coach, Trainer and Project Manager. He received a Bachelor of Computer Science and MS in Software Engineering, both from PUC–Rio.

Paulo Caroli is a man who is passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital products. He is a software engineer, an author, an editor, a speaker and a successful facilitator.

Linda Luu

Linda Luu is a Principal Experience Designer & Product Strategist at Dialexa with over 20 years experience in product innovation, customer centred design and organizational transformation.

Linda has worked with a number of clients in Australia, North America, Canada, South Africa and Brazil, creating and building new innovative products and experiences. Her application of product strategy and design thinking spans financial, health and travel industries for both end consumer and business-to-business products.

Linda holds a double degree in Commerce (Finance) and Science (Applied Maths) and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
