H: How did you know that your father was a liar? How did your mother come to understand?
C: Because his actions did not line up with his words. An honest soul has actions to match their words.
H: And do your actions match your words?
C: Yes, I do believe so.
H: Wrong! While it is true that most of the time your actions do match your words, everyone makes mistakes. And while your heart is pure, sometimes your mind is a steaming pile of horse shit!
C: Somehow I do not find comfort in your insult of my mind!
H: Good, because I did not come here to comfort you. Rather I came to give you the truth!
C: Maybe you were right, Honesty. Maybe I am not strong enough to know the truth!
H: I knew that, but you asked for it, sister! I am going to tell you things that are gonna blow your little pea-brain mind!
C: OK then, hit me with it. I have nothing better to do than to listen right now.

This book is a series of conversations I had with a Unicorn named Honesty in the dream world of Animal Sanctuary. This was my own spiritual experience with God. We talked about a lot of different topics during some of the most difficult times in my life: Questioning my faith, losing a job, questioning gender identity and sexuality.
