Beyond diagrams

The sample book explains how to generate documentation sites from Draw.io diagrams. No programming experience is required.

The full book is work in progress. It explains how to make diagrams executable and provides references to additional information. Future installments will explain how to map map diagrams to semantic models, and other things.

This book is about communication. More specifically – visual and non-visual communication using diagrams and artifacts derived (generated) from them. It explains how to communicate with humans, including self, by generating documentation sites and with computers by using diagrams as configuration resources, making diagrams executable or generating executable code from them. It also explains how to make diagram contents available to AI.
