Lameck Odiwuor

? (B) Personal Storytelling Biography

My name is Lameck Odiwuor, and I’m a dreamer turned software engineer from Nairobi, Kenya.

My journey began with a simple fascination for how software could connect people, automate ideas,

and create opportunities. That curiosity evolved into a lifelong mission—to build technology that

empowers young people and transforms communities.

I studied Information Technology at Zetech University, and later earned my Master of Science

in Computer Science from the University of East London through a UNICAF scholarship.

Throughout my journey, I founded three startups — Avim Software Inc,Avim Rental Houses and

Avim Digital Assets — both driven by my belief that Africa’s future lies in innovation, not

limitation.

I’ve worked as a Software Engineer at St. Augustine Computer College, where I taught,

developed applications, and helped students bring their ideas to life through code.

I also developed machine learning algorithms for financial predictions and founded projects like

Avim Supply Chain and Online Job Listings, designed to help people find work, trade efficiently,

and grow financially.

My story is not just about code — it’s about persistence, learning, and using technology to create

hope.

From writing my first Python script to building full-scale mobile apps, I’ve learned that every

challenge is an opportunity to innovate.

Today, I continue to code, teach, and dream — believing that one app, one algorithm, and one bold

idea can change the world.
